ニューヨーク・チェルシーで開催された JCATグループ展 「Wabi-Sabi」 が静かに幕を閉じました。

会期中、多くの方々が作品の前に立ち止まり、 その後、ニューヨークから私のもとへ直筆のメッセージカードが届けられました。 遠い地で作品と向き合ってくださった方々の言葉が、 紙の質感とともに日本へ届いた瞬間、胸の奥に静かな温度が灯りました。 そのメッセージは、これからの創作を支える大切な宝物です。

今回の展示では、 アメリカのポップアートと日本の詫び錆びの精神を融合させた作品 を出品しました。 色彩の揺らぎや余白の静けさが、ニューヨークの方々に受け止められたことは、 私にとってかけがえのない経験です。

これからも、 静けさの中に潜む美しさを、作品を通して丁寧に届けていきたいと思います。

The JCAT group exhibition “Wabi-Sabi” in Chelsea, New York has come to a gentle close. During the exhibition, many visitors spent quiet moments with my artwork, and later, a handwritten message card traveled all the way from New York to my home in Japan. Receiving these warm reflections—written by those who encountered my work— was deeply moving and has become a treasured source of inspiration.

The piece I exhibited was created with a concept that blends American pop art energy with the Japanese spirit of Wabi-Sabi. I am grateful that this dialogue of color, stillness, and subtle movement resonated with viewers in New York.

I will continue sharing moments of quiet beauty through my artwork, hoping they reach those who seek stillness in their everyday lives.
